In our breeding we try to save and consolidate intelligence of this breed on one hand, and anatomical type of the original schnauzer with his powerful, “ground covering” movement on the other hand. We have made good progress in this field: we have Interchampions and champions of many countries( Russia, Belorussia, Ukraine, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Moldova, Finland ), Winners and class winners of the World Dog Shows and Europe Dog Shows.

In 2003 our kennel was the best kennel of Russian Pincher-Schnauzer Union.

Brief characteristic of the breed:

• Origin – South Germany,
• Utilization: Utility and companion;
• Height at withers:
• Dogs and bitches: 60 to 70 cm;
• Weight 35 to 45 kg,
• square build in which height at the withers is nearly equal to the body length.

But the most wonderful feature of the Giant Schnauzer is his intelligence. Each dog is an intelligent one, which is a great advantage for some people, and insuperable disadvantage for the others. You should deserve his respection and then he will be obedient and loyal. But in case You want to have just a soldier, Giant – is not for You. Riesenschnauzer is a creative person which has great sense of humor, sharpness, he can be sly, his behavior modify from gentle touching towards his master and his family to tough and pitiless towards his enemy.
